The AAA RoadmapÂ
Below are some of the concerns I hear most when speaking to El Pasoans directly, but this by no means covers everything I hope to accomplish.Â
Every move will be done with my committment to you, the AAA roadmap: Affordability, Accountability, Action.
How does this make your life more affordable, and having that argument ready for every every week, taking your feedback and concerns and delivering you results.Â

Please consider filling out my first constituent survey and sharing what's on your mind!

People over Profit
Whether its the Meta Data Center or the expansion of invasive Flock cameras; sweet heart tax break deals or development projects: It's time we had a representative who is going to ask tough questions, demand accountability, and prioritize the well being of people over the profits of corporations.

With my AAA roadmap, every decision I make is going to first be run through the lens of "Is this making my constituent's lives more affordable?" Those are the projects I'm going to chase; the connections I will cultivate. Partnerships with partners who not only share the values of our community, but value our community itself.Â

Every partnership, every agreement, every deal is going to be made explainable and defendable to my constituents. Every week I will have updates on the work I am doing on your behalf, to deliver the results you expect from me.Â

And when corporate interests come knocking on our door, they are going to find me waiting to answer. Ready to fight for our community's best interests when it's time to fight, and not give away farm when it's time to negotiate.Â

Property Taxes
The dreaded property tax conversation that comes around every election cycle. It feels hopeless because it feels like no matter what we do, no matter who we turn to, taxes keep going up, and people keep getting squeezed out.

Different Representatives will argue they are advocating for the projects their constituents asked for, or insist that no investments be made because a new net revenue rate is demanded. I propose to do more.

No new net revenue should be our standard base, and every budget cycle, I intend to have a proposal to deliver just that. Our bare minimum requirements with minimal if any impact to our tax base. That, however, is the start. Sometimes there will be investments to be made in streets, or public safety. Costs fluctuate, conditions change, but what will remain consistent is my commitment to keeping you informed and involved at every step of the process.

Every decision starts with "How will this make my constituent's lives more affordable"Â Â Property taxes are going to be no different

Traffic and Streets
If the squeaky wheel gets the grease, you'd think residents of Far East El Paso would have had their traffic issues addressed years ago. Far East residents are told our roads are too new to be prioritized for resurfacing, and reckless development sprawl has resulted in aggravating wait times. The simple truth is we need a Representative who is going to be constantly pushing to get these projects completed. We need a Representative who is going to work with the City Manager to find more creative ways to ensure that roads in our District are not being left unmaintained.

We need to ensure we are actively developing an evolving master plan, that reflects the changes and growth of the fastest growing region of El Paso. Forward thinking solutions, constant care and feedback, and most importantly, constituent involvement, are all integral to taking us from passively waiting for traffic alleviation, to actively receiving it.
